Paul Iturbide
Bayonne, Pays Basque → Paris & San Francisco

I grew up in Bayonne, in the Basque Country in southwestern France — a small city where rugby isn't just a sport, it's a culture. I played at Anglet from age 3, then joined Biarritz Olympique, one of France's most storied clubs. Rugby taught me discipline, how to compete at a high level, and what it means to be part of a team that has to win.

At 20, I left the Basque Country for the first time. Since then, I've lived in Bordeaux, Curitiba, Tokyo, Paris, and San Francisco — each place a different chapter. Today I'm building Radion, the signal infrastructure for prediction markets.

2005 — 2016
Anglet Olympique
Pays Basque, France
11 years of competitive rugby at Anglet, from childhood to youth elite level. My first real education in high performance — training twice a day, competing nationally, learning how to lose and come back.
2016 — 2020
Biarritz Olympique
Pays Basque, France
Joined Biarritz Olympique — one of France's most storied clubs and historically one of the best in Europe. Two-time French U18 champion: once with the UNSS national high school selection, and once with the Côte Basque-Landes territorial selection, gathering the best players of the region. Recruited professionally before choosing to pursue engineering.

2020 — 2022
Classes Préparatoires — CPGE
Bayonne, Pays Basque
Two years of intensive mathematics and physics in Bayonne — France's system for preparing for engineering school entrance exams. Demanding by design: the goal is to learn how to think under pressure, not just to pass tests.
2022 — 2024
ENSEIRB-MATMECA · Bordeaux INP
Bordeaux, France — Master's in Computer Science Engineering
Left the Basque Country for Bordeaux. Studied computer science engineering at one of France's top engineering schools. First time living outside the Basque Country — also where I started building my first projects outside of class.
2024
Research Exchange — UFPR
Curitiba, Brazil
Research internship at the Federal University of Paraná, working on 5G power amplifier models. First time living outside Europe — Curitiba was a complete change of environment, culture, and pace.
2024 — 2025
Keio University
Tokyo, Japan — AI specialization
Spent a year in Tokyo as part of my engineering specialization in AI. Japan operates on a different frequency — discipline, precision, long-term thinking. It changed how I approach building.
2025
Wavestone · Allianz
Paris, France — Consulting, CTO Office
Joined Wavestone as a consulting intern, embedded within Allianz's CTO office. Worked on Mopaz — a program aimed at replacing the core software used across all Allianz agencies in France, of which there are over 3,000. I operated across both strategy and operations, working directly within the CTO team on one of the largest IT transformation programs in French insurance.
2025 — 2026
X-HEC Entrepreneurs
Paris, France — MSc Entrepreneurship · École Polytechnique & HEC Paris
Joint program between École Polytechnique and HEC Paris — France's two most prestigious institutions. Built for founders. Where I met the Radion team and went all-in on the company.
2026
UC Berkeley — Learn2Launch
San Francisco, USA
Exchange at Berkeley focused on entrepreneurship. Moved to San Francisco, embedded in the startup ecosystem. This is where Radion started taking real shape — meeting traders, operators, and investors in prediction markets.

Radion
2025 — now
The intelligence layer for prediction markets. We turn raw market data into actionable trading signals — delivered via API and MCP to advanced traders running bots and AI agents. Building the infrastructure that traders plug into before placing trades.
SpaceReset
2022 — 2024
SpaceReset tackled one of aerospace's most neglected problems: how do you finance the cleanup of space debris? Our answer was to create a bridge between people passionate about solving the problem — engineers, space enthusiasts, CSP+ professionals like those at Thales — and the mission itself. We designed connected art pieces: collector statues containing a fragment of real space debris, each paired to a specific piece tracked in orbit. ESA/CNES hackathon winner, 10 customers, incubated for a year, French Tech label.
E-commerce
2022 — 2024
Ran multiple dropshipping experiments via Shopify in parallel with my engineering degree. Tested different niches, iterated on ads, learned what it takes to generate revenue with no team and no funding. €10K+ revenue across experiments.
Investment Portfolio
2022 — now
I invest and actively manage a portfolio of €200K+. Making real decisions under uncertainty — across asset classes and market conditions — is what eventually pulled me toward prediction markets and the founding of Radion.
